I had the opportunity to collaborate with Brandlive on their recent product launch video, and it was quite an interesting experience! We set out to transform the typical corporate/inspirational music into a more fun background score without overshadowing the dialogue. Striking that delicate balance was a challenge,but I think we managed to pull it off. Listen to 0:25 for the transition.
For the sound design - I decided to go the approach of making it as musical as possible, often using the same synths I used in the music and editing them to make them more tactile where necessary.
